1.Implement, promote and complete the laws, regulations and policies of the state and regulators on the opening-up of futures and derivatives businesses; 

2.Study and draft the self-regulatory rules on cross-border business of futures and derivatives industries, to promote industrial standardized development;

3.Study important issues on the opening-up of futures and derivatives industries, and put forward solutions, opinions and suggestions on accelerating the "bringing in" and "going out" of futures industry; 

4.Research and promote cross-border innovative business and enhance international exchange and cooperation, to form an open and fair development environment;

5.Assist in the training of international talents, organize international business exchange activities and related conferences;

6.Other duties authorized or entrusted by the council.
